THIS IS MY STORY
Hi I’m Sarah, I'm a mom of 3 boys with a passion for real estate. Ever since I was a little girl I've loved houses; my parents have built many properties over the years, including my childhood home, our family cottage, our home near town, their current home (which they flipped) and are now building again! I grew up watching properties be built and restored, which gave me an appreciation for every step of the home building journey.
When I was 25 years old I became a single mom of a 1-year old and lost my home...and yet I knew that excuses were not an option if I wanted to accomplish my dreams.
At 29 years old I was able to buy a bank repo house and quickly got to work. With an abundance of help from my parents I was able to make the house a home for me and my son. At the time I was a property adjuster for an insurance company but I always had a dream of becoming a REALTOR®.
I had my second son in 2019 and not long after my partner and I decided we needed a bigger yard space for our growing blended family.
In 2020 we bought a piece of property, sold my home and built what I thought was my dream home...well, it was at the time; I have since learned that I HATE open concept! Which means that we will be building again in the next 3-5 years. I guess I'm following my parents' footsteps!
I grew up in Charlotte County, which is why I love Campobello Island so much. I graduated from St Stephen high school and went to NBCC to become a pharmacy technician.
I have had many jobs over the years; after graduating I got a job as a pharmacy technician in Sussex, which is what brought me here. I worked as a physio therapy tech, a waitress and finished my CIP designation to become a claims adjuster for the insurance industry. I worked for Aviva as a property adjuster, Sedgwick as a multi line adjuster, and Desjardins as a property field adjuster before leaving that career to pursue real estate.
Today I am proud to call Kings County home. To raise my children in the beautiful town of Sussex and to build a business that allows me to give back to the community is more than I could have asked for, but exactly where all my hard work and belief has brought me.
